Activities

Residents socialise with each other and their guests or listen to music, watch television and read in our bright comfortable sitting room with its beautiful views of the garden and the South Downs.

Activities and entertainment are frequently organised in the home, as are regular outings to pubs, the beach and Worthing town.

We have a weekly visit from an occupational therapist which residents enjoy and look forward to.

Additionally, regular visits from a hairdresser and chiropodist are part of life at Country Lodge. Dental, optical and physiotherapy appointments are made by arrangement when required. Requests to go to church or a pastoral visit are always accommodated.

Birthdays are always celebrated with a cake and a small party and on special occasions larger parties for a resident’s family and friends can be organised on request. As well as the occasional cocktail party we also have an annual summer garden party.
