Country Lodge is in High Salvington, an area on the outskirts of the town of Worthing in West Sussex. The Home offers magnificent views of the South Downs and beyond. The building is in part an old Sussex barn that dates back to around 1805. Over the years it has been largely converted to offer comfortable and homely accommodation for our elderly residents.
The bedrooms are decorated to a very high standard and are all provided with a telephone, nurse call system, television and a fully profiling specialist bed. Most of the rooms have en-suite facilities and several have views of the garden. We encourage our residents to bring in their own items of furniture and personal effects if they wish.
Friends and relatives are always welcome and may visit at any time. We are very happy to include visitors for lunch and afternoon tea – a homemade cake is always on offer!
Country Lodge has a warm and friendly atmosphere that is enhanced with many regular activities. The daily and weekly activities include arts and crafts, card games, musical entertainment, clothes sales and in-house shows. We host other events that include birthday celebrations and our Summer and Christmas parties. We never miss an opportunity to celebrate a resident’s birthday particularly if it is a special one.
