What’s New Pussycat?

Residents and staff were intrigued by the handsome grey and white cat which suddenly appeared in our garden and took a great interest in the enticing aromas coming from the kitchen. Manager Debbie turned Clouseau having spotted some posters around here about a missing cat and other members of staff heard an appeal on BBC Radio Sussex for news of missing cat Arthur who had been missing for 6 weeks.

Apparently Arthur belonged to 12 year old Rosie Slaughter and had been her constant companion since she’d had an operation. Rosie was devastated to lose him and mother Vicki had posted notices all over the neighbourhood and on social media as well as being interviewed on air. She was beginning to lose hope when assistant chef Pauline rang her to say we thought we might have Arthur here. It was a very happy reunion when Vicki confirmed that it was indeed a somewhat slimmer Arthur and Rosie was thrilled to get her companion back.

Debbie made her radio debut on BBC Radio Sussex the next morning when Neil Pringle held a threeway interview. A great happy ending for all!
