Life at Country Lodge
Our priority is making sure our residents have the best quality of life possible. Our relatives and residents regularly list these five ways in which we achieve this: our care, our food, our surroundings and our activities and parties.
Nutrition & Cuisine
We use high-quality, locally grown, or produced ingredients to cook seasonal, homemade meals full of nutrition. Our menus are always influenced by our residents.
Gardens
We are proud of our easy-to-access, west-facing garden, which is furnished with plenty of seating and overlooks stunning views of the South Downs National Park.
Hair & Beauty
Our new salon offers a space for a bit of pampering; hairdressing, manicures, hand massages, and podiatry are part of the regular pampering routine for our residents.
Wellbeing & activities
We have an in-house Activities Coordinator who hosts quizzes, games, and activities several times a week, along with guest performers and seasonal parties.
We're committed to providing the best care
Our long-term nursing care provides permanent care in West Sussex for elderly people who are no longer able to live at home. We encourage residents to personalise their rooms to be as comfortable as possible.
A bespoke, digital care plan is developed with health professionals and relatives input.
Respite care is two or more weeks of 24 hour nursing care and support in Worthing, enabling the resident’s usual Carer to have some much needed rest and relaxation.
This is 24 hour care for those diagnosed with a terminal illness. Over the years the staff at Country Lodge Nursing Home in West Sussex have offered care and support to many diagnosed with cancer and other terminal conditions.
Our Nurses and Carers have a wealth of experience and training in caring for residents with post stroke challenges and it is wonderful to see residents regain independence with the right care put in place.
Good nutrition and social interaction, provided by encouraging involvement in regular activities all contribute to ensuring the well-being of a resident with Parkinson’s is maintained and enhanced.
At Country Lodge in Worthing we have extensive experience of nursing and caring for residents with MS and work hard to put together a care plan to promote and maintain their independence for as long as possible.
